Two universes, one creation.

When viticulture meets urban art, it gives birth to SPRAY, a bold sparkling wine that shakes up the codes.

On one side, Jérôme Bibey, owner of Château Labadie (Labadie Wines), embodies the Médoc wine-making know-how with regularly awarded wines and a vision focused on innovation. His environmental commitment (Bee Friendly, HVE) reflects his respect for nature and his desire to offer accessible and generous wines. Inspired by the bees – where every role is essential to the harmony of the hive – he applies this philosophy to his vineyard and his encounters.

On the other side, the collective group 9ème Concept, pioneer of street art in France. Founded in 1989 by Stéphane Carricondo, Jerk 45 and Ned, this collective group brings together a community of French and international artists sharing the same vision: making art accessible to all and beyond its conventional framework. They acquire a house in Queyrac in the Médoc to make it a place of residence, creation, and exhibition of different artists.

In May 2022, their collaboration comes to life on the bunkers of the Gurp a town of Grayan-et -l'Hôpital, vestiges of the Atlantic Wall. As an echo to memory and transmission values, artists from the US, England and France take over these concrete walls to convey a message of peace, freedom, and creativity.

Inspired by this approach, Château Labadie decides to extend the story, creating a wine in the image of this artistic encounter.

This will be the pillar of a creative collaboration making these two worlds become more accessible.
