THE WINERY

Château Labadie is located in the commune of Bégadan, 70 kilometers from Bordeaux, in the Médoc Regional Natural Park, bordered to the East by the Gironde estuary and to the West by the Atlantic Ocean.

Benefiting from a privileged geographical situation and a very qualitative terroir (thin clayey calcareous soils on hard limestone), this family property is in constant development, with the objective of optimizing the benefits of nature. Today, with nearly 72 hectares, the Bibey family is pleased to present 3 château names: Château Labadie, Château Pontet Barrail and Château du Moulin Neuf.

The exploitation is managed by Jérôme Bibey, who since his youth has always had a special relationship with nature. Being mindful of the environment is a key element in the production of a wine expressing the terroir at its best. This philosophy of cultivation, typical of Château Labadie, is in line with several environmental certifications: HVE (High Environmental Value level 3), ISO 14001, Bee Friendly label.
